Nicholas Joseph Ferrante
Career
After graduation from law school Nick served as law clerk to the Honorable Steven G. Chappelle, Associate Judge, Circuit Court for Charles County, Maryland. Thereafter he entered private practice at a 30 lawyer firm where he represented the interests of large corporations and insurance carriers in litigation throughout Maryland and the District of Columbia. From 1998 to 2002 Nick served as counsel to the U.S. government, first at the Board of Veterans' Appeals and later at the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He re-entered private practice in 2002 and was an associate at Davis, Upton & Palumbo, LLC in Prince Frederick, Maryland until March of 2007 when he opened his own practice, Nicholas J. Ferrante, LLC. His office is located in the Calvert Village Professional Center and his practice consists of business, personal injury and criminal matters.
